Pennesseewassee Gauge House
Oil on cradled birch panel, 6"x6"x2". While checking out places to paint in Norway, Maine, I came across this picturesque scene in the village. The gauge house regulates the level of water in the lake. The light and reflections convinced me to stop and paint this peaceful scene.
